Research

Mechanisms across tumour cells, immune systems, and metastatic tissues

My work spans cancer biology, immunology, and quantitative molecular research, with an emphasis on questions that connect mechanistic experiments to clinically relevant disease biology.

Current direction

Experimental cancer biology

My postdoctoral research investigates the role of integrins in prostate cancer, with a broader interest in the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer development and therapy.

  • Integrin biology
  • Prostate cancer
  • Molecular mechanisms
  • Cancer biology
Emerging direction

Cancer glycobiology

I study altered glycosylation as both a molecular phenotype and a potential functional regulator of cancer. This work combines tissue-based detection, biochemical specificity controls, and comparative analysis across primary and metastatic specimens.

  • Aberrant glycosylation
  • Glycan detection
  • Immunohistochemistry
  • Metastatic tissues
Doctoral research

T-cell receptor repertoire dynamics

My PhD examined CD4+ T-cell receptor sequences during progression toward experimental pemphigoid. The work integrated immune-repertoire sequencing, transcriptomics, and disease models to investigate how immune intervention reshapes clonotype behaviour and lymph-node responses.

  • TCRβ sequencing
  • Autoimmunity
  • T-cell regulation
  • RNA-seq
